Our Story
Our journey began in 2014, long before THCA small buds became one of the fastest-growing segments of the hemp industry.
Inspired by the story of Charlotte Figi and the potential of CBD flower, our founders launched CBD Saves, a nonprofit initiative focused on educating the community about CBD and providing delivery services to the local Nevada community.
That early experience became the beginning of a much longer journey through the hemp and cannabis industry.
Over the years, our team has worked across nearly every part of the industry—from education and training to cultivation, production, ecommerce, and product distribution.
We've learned the business from the ground up.
And we've brought everything we've learned into THCA Small Buds.
Years of Hemp Experience
In 2016, our team began training and staffing professionals for Nevada's emerging medical marijuana industry.
During those early years, we helped graduate more than 2,000 students who went on to work in licensed cannabis establishments as budtenders, trimmers, and production staff. We later expanded our training operations into additional states.
In 2018, we entered the industrial hemp market and began cultivating, handling, and selling hemp products through ecommerce.
Our experience operating CBD Hemp Direct gave us valuable insight into sourcing, fulfillment, customer service, compliance, and what customers actually expect from an online hemp retailer.
A New Era of Hemp
As the hemp industry evolved, so did we.
The emergence of new hemp-derived cannabinoids opened an entirely new chapter for the industry.
